AmericInn of the Porcupine Mountains is seeking new members of our team! We are looking for Bartenders/Mixologists to join our team! Full-time, Part-time & Seasonal opportunities are available. Competitive starting wage Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to) - Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests, courteously and efficiently. - Collects payments. - Greets guests entering and exiting in a friendly and courteous manner. - Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor. Responds quickly to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. - Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. - Maintains supplies neat and organized to department standards. - Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day. - Reports missing articles, damage, or mechanical problems in the restaurant/lounge area and equipment. - Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. - Follows company policies and procedures. - NOTE: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management - Becomes familiar with the area, snowmobile trails, and the Porcupine Mountains - Promotes the establishment and the area - Waiting tables and cleaning - Minimal Cooking - Become Familiar with Michigan State Laws. - TAM Certification Preferred (*Not required by law, but preferred by the establishment). - Be responsible, watch/monitor your patrons, and be willing to make authoritative decisions. - Provide a safe environment for yourself and other patrons. Requirements - Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift - Great customer service skills - Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays - Minimum of 18 years of age - Strong knowledge and Enforcement of liquor laws. - Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multitask. - Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
