We are seeking skilled barbacks to join our team!

This is a vital support position at our food hall destinations. The position is responsible for assisting bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the shift, with required availability on weekends. The primary role is to provide support and help maintain the bar's functionality and cleanliness.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant and bar experience.
  • Fun, energetic, and work with a genuine care for the guest experience
  • Must be able to read and speak English; bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Maintain current Food Handler's and State Alcohol Serving certifications (upon hire).
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and adhere to regulations regarding alcohol sales and service. Must be available to work a variety of shifts: days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and various holidays
  • Able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails
  • Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Interact with guests professionally and in a friendly manner.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
  • Wear the proper uniform at all times (all Team Members require non-slip shoes).
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized bar.
  • Stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware throughout the shift
  • Proper labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepped items in the bar.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Rotate product to maintain freshness. Preparing fruits and other garnishes
  • Assists the bartender in greeting guests and welcomes them upon arrival
  • Consistently uses all bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products following State Health Department Standards.
  • Communicate questions or issues to Management promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Set up the team for success in the next shift.
  • Clearing and Cleaning: Remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware; wipe down tables and chairs; clean floors; and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Stocking Supplies: Replenish service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, and other essential items.
  • Customer Service: Provide a pleasant dining experience by responding to guest needs and assisting with minor requests.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with dishwashing, side station maintenance, and other tasks needed to support restaurant operations.
