DescriptionThe Sponsor designs, builds, and maintains all of the Sponsor’s production acquired mission infrastructure and associated data storage and test networks, that supports ongoing requirements. The Sponsor requires support specializing in network and cloud engineering of complex networks. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Sponsor needs polished skills in network architecture and cloud services while managing a moderate workload of forementioned architecture and cloud service documentation. Work will include engineering and designing updates to current virtual and physical network and future innovation builds. WORK REQUIREMENTS: Contractor Support: HRR: Yes The Contractor shall work closely with the architecture and development teams as well as group security and analysts; however, the Sponsor management will manage the priorities. • The Contractor shall assess and make recommendations of current network infrastructure. • The Contractor shall asses and validate ongoing Sponsor requirements. • The Contractor shall asses and recommend the Sponsors network architectures, for future innovation. • The Contractor shall assess cloud requirements and design optional network infrastructure opportunities. • The Contractor shall create new updates and features to improve performance with current network infrastructure. • The Contractor shall create technical documentation in support of design network infrastructure. • The Contractor shall provide O&M and support for Sponsor’s network infrastructure.QualificationsTYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen years or more experience1. Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex, multi-segmented secure network infrastructures, virtual and physical. 2. Demonstrated experience maintaining mis-attributable networks, non-attributable networks, or misattribution systems.3. Demonstrated experience with virtual and physical firewalls4. Demonstrated experience with network hardware designing and engineering.5. Demonstrated experience with Cloud Services.6. Demonstrated experience with creating technical documentation in support of network infrastructure. 7. Demonstrated experience with presenting designs and ideas.Desired Skills:1. Demonstrated experience as an Amazon AWS Solution Architect. 2. Demonstrated experience as a Google Cloud Architect. 3. Demonstrated experience with pfsense. 4. Demonstrated experience with designing and deploying complex secure network infrastructure. 5. Demonstrated experience with Linux. 6. Demonstrated experience with Ansible. 7. Demonstrated experience with Python. 8. Demonstrated experience with presenting and communicating technical designs. 9.
