Dental hygienist
Job Description Perform comprehensive oral prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as directed.
Conduct oral health screenings and assist the dentist with charting and documentation.
Provide individualized patient education on oral hygiene and preventative techniques.
Maintain a sterile and organized workspace, ensuring all instruments are properly processed.
Adhere to strict safety and security protocols unique to the correctional environment.
Collaborate with the broader facility healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
part-time $39 - $52 per hour

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse patient population and multidisciplinary staff.
Experience: Prior experience in public health, community clinics, or correctional dentistry.

Documentation: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and digital dental charting.
