Position Summary The EHR System Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily use, functionality, and optimization of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The role provides frontline support to providers and staff, assists with training, and participates in testing and implementation of new features and system improvements. The analyst helps maintain EHR workflows, supports troubleshooting needs, and collaborates with the vendor and internal teams to ensure the EHR operates efficiently and reliably. This position works closely with clinical staff, providers, and IT team members and serves as a key contributor to ongoing EHR enhancement efforts. Pay range: $54,000.00 – $69,000.00 annually, based on experience, education, and/or licensure. Essential Functions Provide daily support to end users across clinical and operational teams in their use of the EHR system, including basic troubleshooting and issue resolution. Triage system issues, resolving those within scope and escalating more complex issues to the Senior EHR System Analyst or vendor as appropriate. Serve as the point of contact for user questions and routine technical assistance. Assist in maintaining EHR workflows, templates, and documentation standards as directed by the Managing Director of IT. Perform initial testing of minor changes, updates, or enhancements to the EHR system. Support documentation of processes, updates, and user guides. Coordinate with HR and assist in delivering initial EHR training to new staff and providers. Provide routine refresher training and user support for existing staff. Assist with creating basic training and communication materials for new features or updates. Assist with testing new features, upgrades, and patches following structured testing plans established by the Senior EHR System Analyst. Provide "day‑of" go‑live support to staff during system updates or functionality changes. Help prepare and distribute basic announcement documentation for changes to the EHR affecting users. Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and the EHR vendor regarding support tickets and system issues. Work with clinical staff and providers to understand routine system concerns and improvement opportunities, escalating when appropriate. Participate in relevant training and meetings to remain current on EHR system functionality. Contribute to departmental projects as assigned by the Managing Director of IT. Travel within the designated service area. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Education / Licensure High school degree or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Experience 2 to 4 years of experience supporting an EHR system in a behavioral health or healthcare setting required. 1 year of prior experience with the CareLogic or NextGen EHR preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written required. Excellent organizational skills required. Valid driver's license required. Appropriate level of auto insurance coverage required. Ability to manage deadlines within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment required. Ability to operate in an Internet‑based, automated office environment required. Ability to maintain a high‑speed internet connection required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer required.
