Make a difference in the lives of students as a General Education and ESL Teacher in the vibrant New Orleans area. This full-time contract role offers the unique opportunity to support language learners and foster academic growth in a dynamic school setting. Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Possession of an active Louisiana DOE teaching certificate (required); candidates with TAT or TA will not be considered
• Demonstrated experience or certification in General Education and/or ESL instruction
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and engage with diverse student populations
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction abilities
• Willingness to comply with district-specific credentialing, including drug screen and fingerprinting

Anticipated Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons to elementary or secondary students in general education and ESL settings (age groups and caseloads to be determined)
• Use data-driven instructional techniques to address varied learning needs, particularly for English language learners
• Communicate regularly with parents, support staff, and fellow educators to track student progress
• Develop lesson plans in line with school and district curriculum standards
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth

The Assignment:

• Contract position beginning as soon as possible and lasting through the school year’s end (May 27, 2027)
• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 hours/day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch, per school calendar
• School assignments and specific caseloads will be determined during the onboarding process
