Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Louisiana Teaching License/certification with required endorsements
• Experience in general education and English Language Arts instruction preferred
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and understanding of various cultural backgrounds
• Strong lesson planning and classroom management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on language acquisition and literacy
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment for all learners
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to address both group and individual student needs
• Assess students’ progress and adapt instruction based on their evolving skills
• Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families to ensure student growth and success
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular progress reports as needed
