Providing technical guidance to national experts, the part-time Senior Expert on Farm-Level Sustainability Indicators will develop a comprehensive set of sustainability indicators for farm-level practices in Azerbaijan, working remotely on a When Actually Employed (WAE) basis. Key responsibilities Guide national experts in developing new farm-level sustainability indicators, including those for fisheries and pasture management Review and provide technical recommendations on draft indicators to ensure methodological soundness and alignment with sustainability goals Conduct final technical reviews and participate in project meetings to support the implementation of sustainability indicators Required qualifications Advanced university degree in agricultural or environmental sciences or related field; bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience is acceptable At least 5 years of experience in developing or applying farm-level sustainability assessments Proven experience in developing sustainability assessment frameworks and providing guidance to national teams Strong understanding of agricultural production systems and sustainability challenges Familiarity with data sources relevant to sustainability measurement
