Title: Food Service Associate

Pay: $21.30/hour

Hours: Part-Time (20-34 hours/week) | Shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Location: 1900 Ikea Way, Columbus, OH 43240

Overview
Join the IKEA Food team and help create a welcoming dining experience for customers. In this role, you'll prepare and serve food, maintain food safety standards, and provide friendly customer service in the restaurant and bistro while supporting a clean and efficient operation.

Job Description

• Prepare and serve hot and cold food items according to IKEA quality standards.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in the restaurant, bistro, and other food service areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Assist customers with menu questions, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Help minimize food waste by following IKEA sustainability practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all IKEA safety, food handling, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of food service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
