Systems Engineering Leader I
What you will do:
As a Controls Systems Engineering Leader, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for hardware, software engineering, and network-level commissioning for various projects. You will ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest ethical standards while implementing innovative practices to deliver cost-effective and customer-centered engineering solutions.
How you will do it:
Effectively manage and prioritize the workload of the Systems Engineering Team, ensuring progress and timely completion of engineering deliverables while maintaining high accountability for outcomes.
Develop and communicate clear processes and standards for the team, focusing on removing obstacles and facilitating streamlined workflows.
Provide precise engineering cost estimates during the project development phase.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving to enhance processes, tools, and technologies, ensuring cutting-edge solutions are delivered.
Offer advanced technical support for application challenges, leveraging your expertise in application engineering.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to foster trust and diverse insights, ensuring cohesive project execution.
Lead the selection of controllers and devices to optimize installation costs and meet project specifications.
Utilize financial and management reports to evaluate project success and make informed decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, enhancing project development and execution.
Maintain engineering excellence by maximizing reuse of proven designs and adhering to high-quality standards.
What we look for:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least eight years of experience, ideally in HVAC and control programming.
Proven leadership experience in supervising technical or engineering teams.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and cost management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in presenting technical information.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,200-130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
