Negotiate and draft construction contracts and related project agreements. Analyze construction disputes involving owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals. Evaluate insurance coverage issues related to construction claims. Prepare and manage insurance tenders and coverage analyses. Analyze legal relationships between policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other project participants. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents. Participate in motion practice, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. Develop litigation strategies designed to efficiently resolve complex construction disputes. Respond promptly to client needs while independently managing multiple litigation matters. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive client representation. ________________________________________ Requirements 3–5 years of experience in construction litigation or related commercial litigation. Hands‑on experience with construction contracts and construction dispute resolution. Practical knowledge of insurance coverage issues involving construction matters. Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent research and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively with legal teams. Strong organizational and project management skills. Active membership in the Oregon State Bar.
