Compensation: $25–$30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30–9:30 AM and 2:15–6:30 PM; Saturdays, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (may adjust during tax season, January 15–April 15)
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week
Position Type: Long-term, live-out

Overview:
A busy family is hiring a dependable, proactive nanny for a long-term split-shift position. The role centers on school-day support for two school-age children. In the mornings, the nanny will help the kids get out the door and handle school drop-offs. In the afternoons, the nanny will do pickups and manage the after-school routine, including homework help, activities and keeping the kids engaged rather than on screens. Strong time management and safe, confident driving are essential. The family is looking for someone who reads the room, takes initiative and keeps the household running smoothly without being asked. Light cooking is a welcome bonus, and the home includes a friendly family dog. The family expects to travel more in the future and may invite the nanny to join, with their own room and travel arrangements covered. A vehicle and a gas/expense card are provided for work driving. This position offers consistency, long-term stability and a family that values clear, open communication.

Responsibilities:

• Help both children get ready for school in the mornings
• Drive both children to and from school, plus activities as they come up, in the family’s vehicle
• Provide engaged after-school care, including snacks, homework help and age-appropriate activities, and limit screen time
• Prepare light meals as needed (cooking is a plus)
• Keep schedules and school logistics organized for both children
• Keep children’s areas tidy and handle light child-related tasks as needed
• Let the dog out and feed it occasionally
• Travel with the family as requested, or care for the dog at home while the family travels
• Communicate regularly with parents about the day, schedules and any concerns

Requirements:

• Prior professional nanny or childcare experience, ideally with school-age children
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable driving the family’s vehicle daily on a time-sensitive school route
• Punctual and dependable for early-morning starts and split-shift hours
• Available Monday–Friday and Saturdays on a long-term basis, starting no later than December 7, 2026
• Comfortable with dogs
• Strong swimmer, comfortable swimming with children
• Open to travel (valid passport preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
