Job Description

Location: Phenix City, AL | Schedule: Full-time, on-site Overview A school-based therapy services provider is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT, RPT) to support students in Phenix City, AL. This role works collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to help students achieve their physical and educational goals within the school environment. What you'll do Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals Collaborate with educators and other team members to integrate physical therapy strategies into students' daily activities and curriculum Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Educate and train school staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans Required qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alabama Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physical therapy Preferred qualifications Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred Why this role This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve their educational objectives, within an inclusive learning environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
