Title : Certified / Registered Medical Assistant

Location : Charlotte, NC

Compensation : $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

About the Opportunity:

Addison Group is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a highly reputable specialty practice. This role is patient‑facing, offers variety, and provides exposure across multiple providers and clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

• Room patients and assist providers during clinic visits
• Support in-office procedures and clinical workflows
• Relay lab results and respond to patient questions via phone
• Update patient charts, manage documentation, and organize referrals
• Perform prior authorizations as needed
• Float between providers and offer coverage where needed
• Assist with special projects assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• Active CMA or RMA credential required
• At least 2+ years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Experience handling patient phone calls required
• Ability to explain procedures, injections, and clinical instructions clearly required
• Experience working in a specialty practice preferred
• Familiarity with NextGen EMR preferred
