Cartus Mobility Specialist roleSUMMARY:This Mobility Specialist role with Cartus will be based on-site with a major corporate client in New York or Salt Lake City. The individual will be responsible for providing support to the assignment management teamAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Responsible for issuing and tracking expatriate documentation on a regional basis. This includes but is not limited to assignment memos, repatriation documentation, localization memos. Responsible for transfer and departure documentation for all relocations on a regional basisManagement of inquiries from transferring employees (answering help desk, responding to employees directly, forwarding to vendors or escalating questions as appropriate)Preparation of employment verification documentation for transferring employees on a regional basis Responsible for data integrity for assignee records in the Americas. Uploading relevant documentation to records e.g exception requests, transfer letters and expat documentation.Working with assignment managers on initiation and communication of certain relocation policy typesProvide support with both regular and ad-hoc reporting requirementsResponsible for coordination of immigration expiries report updates, and coordination with vendorsData validation on immigration support documentation, and responsibility for obtaining signatures, issuing and in some circumstances drafting documentationConducting initial review of relocation cost estimates to confirm accuracyInteraction with assignment managers on data entry for various assignment calculationsInvolvement in ad-hoc regional projectsEXPERIENCE/SKILLS:To be successful in performing and developing this role, the candidate will need to demonstrate strength and experience in a majority of the following areas:Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail – an ability to review data, detect and correct errors, take responsibility for data qualityClient service focus, responsiveness and a "can-do" open-minded professional attitudeStrong organizational skills, proactive approachSelf-starter, ability to work well independently or in a team environmentGood communication and relationship management skillsUnderstands the importance of confidentialityAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlines Good judgment – knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexibleFamiliar with operating as part of a global teamEnthusiastic, positive and keen to learn and developStrong Excel skills preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the mobility field is preferred although not essentialCartus is leaning into its essence, Where Mobility Meets Agility.
