The SMH Level 3 RN Endo/GI is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in the Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal (GI) department. This role includes patient assessment, sedation administration, monitoring vital signs, assisting physicians during procedures, and post-procedure recovery. The nurse will also manage documentation, prepare and sterilize equipment, and administer medications and IV drips. Strong clinical skills in conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, and expert IV insertion are required, along with the ability to recover patients from general anesthesia.
