Senior Data Analyst

The Engineering Operations & Capability group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help develop, transform, and model data to improve decision making. You are responsible for data extraction and manipulation of data sets resulting in workflows and predictive models for end-users using system tools (dashboards). You will conduct analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting. You will manage the analytics request process by capturing requirements and are responsible for the creation and maintenance of the resulting analytic dashboards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Integrate diverse data streams
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy, adhering to security and confidentiality protocols
  • Establish data standards and act as custodian of data sets and streams
  • Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets to support decision-making
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations for programmatic and functional teams
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in intelligence data
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of data system engineering, data analytics, data science, or related field
  • Proven experience in leading projects for data engineering and data analysis and integrating diverse data streams
  • Strong technical skills in data engineering, data analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling
  • Experience in data cleaning, performing statistical analysis, and visualizing data using tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as C# and Python.
  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts
  • Knowledge of the complex environment involving shared networks
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, data security, and data literacy
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing
  • Database design using SQL or NoSQL based data management systems
  • Certification in data analytics, data science, or related field (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high-performance results
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
