Job Description

About Terralyn

Terralyn is a sustainability consulting firm built on its own agentic platform, Terralyn Analyst. The platform handles the volume work: data intake, calculations, first drafts and evidence packs. Our consultants own the strategy and make the judgment calls. Clients get fixed-price reporting, delivered faster than a traditional engagement.

The role

We're looking for an experienced sustainability professional to join us. You'll help win reporting engagements and lead them from scoping to final deliverables. This is an independent, project-based role.

What you’ll do

  • Market development: Source and close reporting engagements through networking and targeted outreach, using Terralyn’s playbooks, pricing, and tooling. We support you at every step.
  • Lead engagements: Partner with our senior practitioners to own a company’s reporting cycle from scoping through delivery and strategic advisory.
  • Shape the product: Your expertise is the feedback loop that keeps Terralyn Analyst’s work assurance-ready and grounded in the standards reports must meet.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years in corporate sustainability, in-house or consulting, with working knowledge of relevant sustainability reporting standards and frameworks.
  • Experience scoping, proposing or selling consulting engagements.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Data Analytics, or related technical field.

What you get

  • Revenue share on every engagement you work on. Because the platform handles the volume work, you can take on more engagements than a traditional practice allows.
  • Contracting, invoicing, and back-office tooling handled by Terralyn, so you can focus on clients.
  • Room to grow into a larger role as Terralyn grows.
  • High autonomy environment.

Terralyn is an equal-opportunity employer: we welcome and value applicants of every race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic, and we are committed to building an inclusive, equitable workplace for all.
