Contract Duration: 2 Weeks

We're looking for an experienced RN to step into a Head Clinic Nurse role across a network of Rural Health Clinics in New Hampshire's White Mountains region. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week on 8-hour day shifts, with pay ranging from $40 to $54/hour depending on experience (candidates with 18+ years land at the top of that range). You'll be leading a clinical team of roughly 15 people, so this is a real leadership seat, not a title tacked onto a bedside role.
This organization has built its reputation on being the place rural communities actually get seen, not just treated. Its Rural Health Clinics are where a lot of that trust gets built day to day, and the Head Clinic Nurse is the person who keeps that engine running. You'd be stepping into a hospital system that values continuity of care and genuinely invests in the people who make that possible, working closely with an RHC Director who's counting on you as a true partner, not just a direct report.
In this role, you'll be the clinical backbone of the RHCs: overseeing daily operations, mentoring and coaching nurses, LPNs, and CMAs, and helping with scheduling and performance management. You'll ensure the clinics stay compliant with state regulations and best practices, while also staying hands-on clinically through triage, medication refills, and prior authorizations. You'll have real input into improving policies, procedures, and clinic efficiency, so this is a role for someone who wants to shape how care gets delivered, not just administer it. We're looking for someone collaborative and organized who leads with relationships first, backed by 5+ years of supervisory experience and a genuine passion for community-based care.
The region sits in New Hampshire's White Mountains, which means your commute involves a lot more scenery than gridlock. It's small-town New England living: close-knit, seasonal, and easy to fall in love with if you're someone who wants your life outside work to feel as good as your work does. Exact location details are shared with candidates once we connect.
If leading a team, shaping how rural care gets delivered, and putting down roots somewhere real sounds like your next move, let's talk. Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, an active or eligible New Hampshire RN license, and BLS certification within 12 months of hire. This is a confidential search, and candidate details are handled with discretion throughout the process.
