Truck Driver – Local Routes (Home Daily, CDL Support Available)
Truck driving position with stable hours where you are home every night.
Job Summary
We are hiring a Truck Driver to haul grain and other agricultural commodities between local facilities and customer locations within an assigned territory. This is a local driving position with regular working hours and consistent routes. The role supports daily operations through safe driving, efficient routing, and professional customer interactions. This opportunity is well suited for individuals seeking steady work in agriculture and a long-term driving career. Drivers with a Class A CDL are encouraged to apply, and qualified candidates without a CDL may receive company support to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities
• Transport grain and agricultural commodities safely and on schedule
• Operate semi trucks and other commercial vehicles on local routes
• Follow assigned routes to improve efficiency and reduce mileage
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety requirements
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery, load, and safety records
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance needs
• Assist with additional routes or locations as needed
• Work flexible hours, including overtime during peak seasons
• Support additional operational duties and work as part of a team
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Commercial driving or agriculture-related experience preferred
• Class A CDL preferred OR willingness to obtain CDL with company assistance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours during harvest
• Strong safety focus, reliability, and work ethic
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Prolonged periods of sitting while driving
• Frequent use of hands, hearing, and vision
• Low to moderate noise work environment
